i love birch trees and these are so unique
One of the heartening aspects of these days is seeing rashes of red and yellow beneath the burnt trunks from our massive wildfire of 3 years ago, knowing scrub oak and aspen have begun to fill the empty spaces left by bygone evergreens. In time this time of year will give us our own chorus line, with a warm understory petticoat of vivid color
