  1. Sheryl Craig Russell – I am a country woman, born and raised, recently uprooted and placed temporarily into city living...although I'm told Laurel, MT is a small town, not a city. I like to write about what I love; God, family, and my country.
    Sheryl Craig Russell says:

    Beautiful!

  2. chelawriter – I thought retirement would give me more time to write, but as with may others, my experience of retirement so far is that it is far busier than my employment years. Two wild fires with evacuations and extensive damage to my home have not helped. Repairs are almost complete, and fingers crossed things will settle down so I can post more often.

The tree lacking in my area, that every autumn reminds me to miss, just a little, my early life on the East Coast. The only red out here is a small bit from scrub oak, often hidden below the varied yellows of aspen and cottonwood, and the steady greens of pinon and pine.

  3. flahertylandscape – I like to live landscape stories…I am a landscape architect; and I like to write stories about people, plants, gardens and the landscape.
    Edward says:

    Straight to my heart–wonderful refreshment!

  5. Jeni – I want to know what is over that hill, around that bend. I want to live life to the full as much as I can. ... and I want to share what I see and experience with you.

I have followed you for a year now watching the seasons change on the other side of the world. You capture the beauty with camera and word, giving pleasure your readers. The colours of the autumn leaves give joy to me in Australia where the only native deciduous trees are in Tasmania.

    1. Jenilewren, thank you so much for letting me know you are enjoying Leaf And Twig and our autumn colors all the way on the other side of the world!!

  6. mjeanpike – Changing seasons. Unexpected blessings. Love that lasts forever. These are a few of M. Jean Pike's favorite things. With a writing career that has spanned two decades, Jean combines her faith in God with an insatiable curiosity about humans and why they do what they do, and a keen interest in the quirky and offbeat things in life to bring readers unforgettable tales of life, love, and the inner workings of the human heart.
    mjeanpike says:

    Stunning!

  7. Kimberly Vargas Agnese – My name is Kimberly Vargas Agnese, though I've previously written as Kae Bucher. I was born in the Florida Keys, but grew up in the Bay Area before migrating south to the San Joaquin Valley. As I ride barefoot around Fresno, I consider the paths I've chosen and the crossroads where our country seems to have perched itself. Thanks to my Romani ancestry, many people groups reside within me and my poetry tends to reflect this. I love welcoming the sunrise with my Native American flute. I've been rumored to juggle while teaching students how to write. And if you can't find me, I'm probably hanging out with Jesus listening to parables.
    Kimberly Vargas Agnese says:

    Cool…
