After the excessive, lingering heat dome, autumn seems already here in northern NM, weather now being we normally (if there is still such a thing) don’t see until early October. Plants don’t know what to make of it all, nor do we.
I’m so glad you’ve finally gotten some relief from the heat. Fall seems early here too – I can smell it on the air and some of the maples are already turning. We had constant rain and very little sun this summer. The plants here too are doing their best to adjust and adapt. I follow their lead. Normal is a memory now. Be well.
