  1. Gail – Indiana – Life is full of fascinating moments. Being a good listener can help you see the world through the eyes of others. It not only enriches your understanding, but provides a deeper level of connection. I find that one sentence can tell an intriguing story.

Enjoying the wide open spaces. 🌳🌳🌳

  2. thepensmight – I'm a late blooming writer, painter, digital artist and photographer who is strolling along the banks of the world and web stream, throwing out lines (art, essays, satire, poetry) to see what I might catch. I'm cautious, since I believe we are heading toward the cataract, but, perhaps, with others, we'll channel the future into calmer waters.

  3. JanBeek – Ennis, Montana – With Bob, my dear husband of 62 (& still counting) years, I continue to live a full life. Here in Montana, every day is a learning experience. Every day is a chance to reach out in love! With 8 decades of living under our belts, we’ve learned a thing or two about how to create the “Good Life” in our “Golden Years.” This blog is designed to share some of those tidbits with you. I aim to inspire more love, joy, peace, faith and unity. Hopefully, my blog will will give you a glimpse into how just “Loving One Another” has enhanced my time on earth - and I’ll encourage you to reach out to others with unconditional love, too. A recent blog follower said in her introduction, "My mode of operation is to make the ordinary of everyday extraordinary." I have to borrow that... In fact, borrowing ideas from others is one way to achieve the extraordinary. Feel free to borrow any of mine any time! I'd be honored. To God be the glory!! Welcome Aboard!

I love your picture and the accompanying poem. Perfect concept… placeholders, indeed! <3

  4. clcouch123 – In conversation, I prefer Christopher. In writing, I use C L Couch because it’s a genderless form of my name and, frankly, easier—I have severe writer’s cramp. This is a blog of poetry, spiritual and occasional. The permanent photographs used here—for the banner, for my profile—were taken by Debra Danielson, a photographer and friend. You may enjoy more of her work at debra.danielson.org. Please presume a copyright and credit me when using mine. And for many things, first your presence here, thank you very much.

The image is attractive, and the verse is appealing.

  5. Steven Tryon – Irondequoit, NY – I am a photographer, walker, and sometime paddler, a theologically-educated geek living in Rochester, NY. Once upon a time I was an Army helicopter jockey in Alaska. Supports gay/lesbian/trans/whatever folks. I started with film, switched to digital, then went back to classic film cameras.

    Reminding me to breathe.

  6. janicead – Round Rock, TX, USA – A retiree from a career in graphic arts with a application in printed circuit board production. This job moved from manual work in the mid 1960's to mostly computerized in the mid 1990's. A wife of one since 1967. Mother to one since 1973. Grandmother of four grandsons and one granddaughter of varying ages. Sister to three. Daughter of two staunch Democrats. Child of the Creator. Lover of nature, a good steak and long views. A native Texan that spent 38 years in southwest Missouri, my husband's home state. In 2013 moved to the Austin, TX, area to once again be near my side of the family. Downsizing to a one bedroom loft apartment allows more time for blogging, sewing, watching grandsons in various sports and dabbling in photography. Looking forward to a few more trips, this time to other continents.
