  1. cpluzc – Maastricht – At 67, I’ve transitioned from a 43-year career in supply chain management to pursue my passion as a self-taught photographer. Since my recent retirement, I’ve dedicated myself to visual storytelling that explores the intersections of environment, circular economy, and the evolving influence of artificial intelligence on human social life. A more in-depth elaboration and continuation of the blogging I've been doing here for almost 15 years. Working primarily in monochrome with Nikon gear, I’ve developed a distinctive visual language that strips away distraction to reveal the essential narratives within our changing world. My photography examines how we interact with our environment, how resources flow through circular systems, and how technology is reshaping human connection and community. Each image is accompanied by thoughtful blog writing, where I expand on the stories behind my photographs and explore the broader implications of what the lens captures. This combination of visual and written narrative allows me to delve deeper into the complex themes that drive my work. My background in supply chain management informs my photographic perspective—I understand systems, flows, and interconnections. This analytical foundation, combined with the artistic freedom of self-taught exploration, enables me to approach environmental and social themes with both technical precision and creative vision. Through monochrome photography, I seek to highlight the essential truths of our time: our relationship with the natural world, the promise and challenge of circular economic models, and the profound ways artificial intelligence is transforming how we live, work, and relate to one another.

  2. clcouch123 – I prefer Christopher in conversation. In writing, I use C L Couch because it’s a genderless form of my name and, frankly, easier—I have severe writer’s cramp. I mean to be a poet writing spiritual and occasional verse. The photographs used permanently here—for the banner, for my profile—were taken by Debra Danielson, a photographer and friend. You may enjoy more of her work at debra.danielson.org. If you would credit me when quoting my work, I'd be thankful. As I am thankful for your presence here.
