  1. The white of the snow and the red of the tree are a good contrast.
Right now, It is raining and all grey here.

  2. It does depend on location.
I have some forsythia that show their yellow blooms, well name any month. Even in my winter climate. I saw some buds this week – yes in December. 🙂

Best to you and yours ~Jules

  3. CarolynEliason – Sarasota, FL. – I have always enjoyed photography, but with encouragement from family and friends over years I began to realize I really love it! This blog began in 2014 as a weekly themed blog with a group mainly located here in Florida. That group no longer exists so I decided to switch things up to a monthly themed blog. Thanks for following me over the years and if your new, I hope you enjoy my photos. 😊

Oh the birds will love this all winter long!

  4. Gail – Indiana – Life is full of fascinating moments. Being a good listener can help you see the world through the eyes of others. It not only enriches your understanding, but provides a deeper level of connection. I find that one sentence can tell an intriguing story.

  5. Yes, but isn’t there a more upbeat name? I feel bad for this tree, although it doesn’t seem unhappy. All the trees I see from my window look pretty glum this morning. I might plant one in my yard if I could call it something else.
