The evolution of my style began early in the year 2002, with an imperative to capture personal and fleeting memories. My son and I traveled to New York City, to view the first Saint Patrick's Day parade after September 11, 2001. My work from that parade was so successful and satisfying (see "New York Fire Department, Saint Patrick's Day 2002") I just never stopped.

perfect in what way? I will hold off for a taste…..

  2. i love the reminder of eating-while-picking, but I’m also reminded that no one would want to eat one of our Texas cooking pears right from the tree. They’re hard as a rock, and not at all tasty, until a good cook turns them into pie, or preserves, or some such.

  3. Yummy. I’m a city person, but I love fruit off the tree, freshly picked veggies from my local farmers’ market, wine from the vineyard. Yeah for farm people! Beautiful picture.
