Like E A M Harris I live in an ice free climate , so your veil is particularly beautiful to me, as my area recovers from TC Debbie in south east Queensland.
Everyone thinks of flowers and new grass as signs of spring, but you keep reminding me that when I lived in the midwest, March mud and the drip, drip, drip of water from ice came even earlier. What a beautiful reminder you’ve offered, too.
OH yes – the fifth season…mud season. The primordial ooze from which everything grows.
