    lovely!

  3. Now, that’s an expression that stopped me: “maundy March.” Then, I thought, “Of course. The washing of the landscape with spring rains — only roots, instead of foots!”

  4. cathysrealcountrygardencom – France – I have a garden in France, which is not olive trees and jasmine, but much more like an English country garden. It is flowers and vegetables and wild bits and birds: not very big, but to me it is very beautiful.

    Nice alliteration!

  5. Robyn Haynes – Australia – Robyn enthusiastically pursues a green and writerly life on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, where her background as a doctor of social anthropology equips her with an interesting slant on the human condition. She spends much time indulging a passion for her garden where she ponders life and attempts to stave off existential angst. In her more reflective moments she makes wry observations on courtyard gardening and its parallels with life.
    Robyn Haynes says:

I have never heard of ‘maundy’. Thanks to shorea cres for the explanation.

  6. It is still bleak and wet here so it was encouraging to see your picture.

  7. judybarton – Still in love, complicated, almost stupid, interested to recognize herself. "Up to the age of eighteen years old everybody writes poems; after, only two categories of people may continue to do it: poets and idiots." (Benedetto Croce). Obviously I do not consider myself a poet.

Is this the end of your snow?
