  2. Ashok Misra – Ashok Misra is a retired Professor who dabbles with traveling and photography in his free time, his mainstream interests being reading and writing. He started out as a junior lecturer, English at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences in Kanpur, India, after completing his Masters in the language. He went on to earn a Ph.D. in American literature; and Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching of English (PGCTE) from the Central Institute of English & Foreign Languages, Hyderabad. He held the following posts as years went by: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and finally, Professor of English. He retired in October 2012 as Professor and Head, Extension, with additional charge of Dean, Students’ Welfare of the CSA University of Agri.& tech.Kanpur, India.

  7. nanciec13 – Wisconsin – I am a fabric artist and a retired professional minister in the Catholic Church. I am married for 40+ years to a most fabulous man. We have 4 adult children, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 son-in-law (who we also consider to our children!) and 4 grands. I love to weave, sew and design garments for myself; bead, read, write and color. I am also a spiritual Companion/Director and have a special place in my soul for women who are healing and in need of healing from trauma and abuse. I love coffee, quiet reflective prayer time at my kitchen table and long walks to breathe in the Holy Spirit. I would like to learn how to spin yarn and will someday create a spun, hand dyed/painted, beaded, woven fabulous garment of peace!

  9. busy lady – Kentucky – Once upon a time I was retired. But I came to live with my younger daughter and homeschooled her oldest son for two years. He went to school for 8th grade and now is in high school. I get to spend lots of time with my other three grandchildren. I write poetry and enjoy making books of them. I don't live with my daughter now; I have my own apartment which I love, and my own little kitty, which I named Shere Khan. However, unlike his name sake, he is not a brave, mean kitty. But I like it that way! I live only a few miles from my daughter and her family. I wish my other daughter was closer, but two hours away is not bad. Her three boys are all teenagers now. Its fun to be a grandma! My life is good.
