  3. JanBeek – Ennis, Montana – With Bob, my dear husband of 62 (& still counting) years, I continue to live a full life. Here in Montana, every day is a learning experience. Every day is a chance to reach out in love! With 8 decades of living under our belts, we’ve learned a thing or two about how to create the “Good Life” in our “Golden Years.” This blog is designed to share some of those tidbits with you. I aim to inspire more love, joy, peace, faith and unity. Hopefully, my blog will will give you a glimpse into how just “Loving One Another” has enhanced my time on earth - and I’ll encourage you to reach out to others with unconditional love, too. A recent blog follower said in her introduction, "My mode of operation is to make the ordinary of everyday extraordinary." I have to borrow that... In fact, borrowing ideas from others is one way to achieve the extraordinary. Feel free to borrow any of mine any time! I'd be honored. To God be the glory!! Welcome Aboard!

An apt set of metaphors to describe that aging process! I like it. Feels like me today. Just came back on this rainy Saturday from a funeral for a dear friend. God’s crying.

    1. So sorry to hear about the passing of your friend. Yes on certain days the rain is God’s tears. On another day the sun will shine and the flowers will bloom in celebration of that friend.

Wow…I really covet that shed! I had a beautiful battered old thing on my allotment. It had the same spirit as this! Gorgeous.

  5. I live in the country and take the backroads to work, and every day I look for the falling down buildings that once housed life. I love old barns and houses..I often wonder what transpired there. And now and then, a story is written. Thank you.

  7. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.

It IS a sway backed shed! Love it!

  8. The old, gray(ing) shed, she ain’t what she used to be — oh, didn’t I hear that song when I was growing up. The “swayback” is good, but “ridden by time” is perfect.
