  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

    Like fairy lights

  2. kim881 – A retired teacher and examiner, I am originally from London. In my late teens and early adulthood, I lived in Cologne, Germany for nearly eight years, and the Republic of Ireland for two years, where I gave birth to my daughter. I have lived in North Norfolk in the UK for over thirty-one years. Reading and writing have been a huge part of my life since I was very young. I used to write mainly poetry, moved on to short stories and, several years ago, wrote my first novel for children aged 8+, a ghost story set in London in the Second World War. I have two grandchildren, who I love dearly, and two cats that run that wild in our overgrown garden, which is also occasionally home to deer, magpies, owls and dragonflies, and other birds and wildlife. I can see it all from my desk; it's peaceful, green and food for the imagination. Apart from being a huge Radio 4 fan, I love music, theatre and ghost stories.

    Yes, nature’s fairy lights!

  3. Jen – USA – I want to explore everything, from the mundane to the momentous, the playful to the profound. Nothing is insignificant and everything is related. I’m particularly fond of the mysteries contained in everyday life. Freelancing is my latest adventure, and I’d love for you to come along!

  4. elmediat – Ontario Canada – I am a Northern Ontario (retired) secondary school teacher with a background and teaching experience in English, Special Education, and Media Literacy. I tend to think in global structures and find the trends in media technology and its impact on culture, education, and social structure fascinating.

  5. nanciec13 – Wisconsin – I am a fabric artist and a professional minister in the Catholic Church. I am married for 40+ years to a most fabulous man. We have 4 adult children, 2 daughter-in-laws ( who we also consider to our children!) and 4 grandbabies. I love to weave, paint silk, sew and design garments for myself; bead, read, write and color. I am also a spiritual Companion/Director and have a special place in my soul for women who are healing and in need of healing from trauma and abuse. I love coffee, quiet reflective prayer time at my kitchen table and long walks to breathe in the Holy Spirit. I would like to learn how to spin yarn and will someday create a spun, hand dyed/painted, beaded, woven fabulous garment of peace!

    holy wow!

  6. coffeeandperspectives – Share experiences; Gather Perspectives; Ignite Minds… I am a fiction lover. I am a “realistic” fiction lover. I don’t tread on core inspirational books or politics much. I derive energy from a pragmatic idea, captured with fictional knitting. I love to fall in love with characters of a novel I am reading and I also feel the chill due to a well executed scenario of a sci-fi work. I am here to take a cue from the real world and then –take the words for a stroll to add some sweet, some spice, some music and some perspectives to the story, not necessarily sticking to personal experiences. Peek-a boo into these wonderful realms. And then, I am back to my daily life…my family, career, duties…they are my gravity and I take my role play here pretty seriously. As I said, I am a “realistic” fiction lover.☺

  7. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......
