Summer Flew In

June morning
the world opened wide
all possibilities expanded

a single ray of light
splits the darkness open
an entrance for possibilities

joy flew in
and stayed for a moment
proving it was possible

the possibilities
of a new day
glinting

all possibilities
gather
at the water’s edge

serene in uncertainty
possibilities tumble
into the unknown

before the unfolding
the gathering of potential
and all possibilities

before bursting into being
possibilities illuminate
the breath of every second

swim the sky
fly the water
heaven is on earth

the newly bare ground
home to all possibilities

The maple unfurls
her first blossoms
opening all possibilities.

In the open space
dreams collect like clouds
creating my horizon.

In the stillness
all possibilities
are incubated.

The still green meadow
holds out the possibility
of an Indian Summer.

In a certain slant of light
one can see past what is there
and into the possibilities of what could be.
