  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  4. Michelle Adam – I am a writer, teacher, and lover of the earth. I have written for magazines and newspapers for twenty years, including the Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine, The World of Hibernia magazine, and Vista magazine, and was a contributing author for The Irish Today, a coffee-table book that sold at major bookstores. I was raised in Spain, Switzerland, and the U.S. by Argentinean and American parents, and have taught Spanish to middle school students for the past ten years. In addition, I’ve worked as a photographer, produced short films, have studied and practiced indigenous and shamanic traditions for a dozen years, and have worked as a healer.

  6. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. I am revisiting this blog after many years, many life changes and challenges and finding myself surrounding by joy and resilience. Join me for the transformation and transition.

    It’s like a lovely painting!!

  7. judybarton – Still in love, complicated, almost stupid, interested to recognize herself. "Up to the age of eighteen years old everybody writes poems; after, only two categories of people may continue to do it: poets and idiots." (Benedetto Croce). Obviously I do not consider myself a poet.
    judybarton says:

Wow! it’s really an icy caterpillar!

  8. sherijkennedyriverside – North Bend, WA USA – Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.
    sherijkennedyriverside says:

    I love your perspective.

  9. Robyn Haynes – Australia – Robyn enthusiastically pursues a green and writerly life on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, where her background as a doctor of social anthropology equips her with an interesting slant on the human condition. She spends much time indulging a passion for her garden where she ponders life and attempts to stave off existential angst. In her more reflective moments she makes wry observations on courtyard gardening and its parallels with life.
    Robyn Haynes says:

So much is said in so few words.

  10. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunset.
    firefly1275 says:

    Very beautiful photo. 🙂

  11. Rene Yoshi – Just a transplanted Okinawan-French Southern girl with a wee bit o' Irish, sharing photography and what I'm learning about spiritual things, including putting off legalism and religious traditions, and embracing God's matchless love, tender mercy, and amazing grace!
    Rene Yoshi says:

Very good imagery and prose! Love your imagination!

If I’d had more time, I would’ve rhapsodized, but I had to run. Your site is such an inspiration to me. You say so much with a picture and a few words.
