  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  4. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......

    So New England!

  5. realmromeo – America – I tell stories. I always have. I write and I paint and I train. Everyday. I love movies and comic books. I've been an extra in an Oscar Nominated HBO Movie. I hitch-hiked across the country. I laugh, I love and I bleed. Just like you. We share something very special, you and I. Life. Send me an email if you're interested in having me be an extra (starring roles considered) or if you'd like a fridge magnet. I paint them. They're really cool.

    You have a good eye.

  6. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunsets.

    Very beautiful photo shot!

  7. Mary Kendall – North Carolina, USA – Thanks for stopping by my blog. My work has been published in both print and online journals, and my chapbook, Erasing the Doubt was published in April 2015 by Finishing Line Press. I've also co-authored a book, A Giving Garden (©2009) along with friend and photographer, Debbie Suggs. In the fall of 2023, my third book, The Last Camellia, will be published by Velvet Dusk Publishing. Stay tuned for more details. For the past eight years or so, I've focused mostly on writing Japanese short form poetry in English. For me, this is mainly haiku, senryu, tanka and various sequences that include collaborative poetry. I have published many of my poems (see individual years in the header of this blog) in both print and online journals. I am a member of the North Carolina Haiku Society, a group consisting of so many outstanding writers. Our zoom meetups during the pandemic were life saving. The Archives of this blog go back to July, 2014. These earlier poems are "regular" long form poetry. I hope you will enjoy reading my work.
