We’re awash in mallards here, and I often find them nestled into the grass in a marina where I work. I always am thinking, “That would make a great photo.” You just proved it! Mallards are so tolerant of humans — even while they can be such clowns and characters.
Dear Catherine, many compliments for this, both images and words. Thanks very much for following my art activities on dispenza.worspress.com. Have a lovely week. Edoardo
So true! If you can’t love yourself, how can you expect any one else to love you?
Wow – that has long been my philosophy; perhaps not as knowing as yours, but expressed as ‘home is where I am’.
Derrick – from reading your blog it is clear that this is your philosophy – and that your spirit seeks joy.
Thank you seedbud

Does seem like there are more of them than usual this year. And they are so patient with us – posing for photos.
The duck is so cute! He’s just sitting there like ‘I know I’m fabulous and I don’t need some partner to prove me that!’
🙂
Indeed.
The ability to see beauty in the midst of chaos (our crazy world) is the only way we’ll survive, thrive and blossom into the amazing beings our Creator intended us to be. Even here He can bring us joy!
