  3. Also shared this. Reminds me of Poland where my family are from. Wild, wild, unspoilt, simple country. Thank you. I really love this and there has been a willow theme going on here! Mutual Willow Appreciation society!

  4. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  5. M. – Since I was little I liked to visualize and create things. Painting with watercolors is what makes me happy now. That, and spending time gardening and reading. I love long walks, biking, and the beach.

  7. dwk758 – Puget Sound, USA – When I was in the 6th grade, I was fascinated by a brief section in my World History book about ancient Greece and the philosophers, mythology, and original Olympics. I wrote my first poem about it that started: "Ancient Greeks and old time Romans...". Ever since it has been an elaboration on that theme...and I have wandered far afield.

    Excellent eye and pen.

  9. The eye of a great photographer is hard to miss. You have it and I envy that ability to combine an image with such thought provoking words to back them up. That is talent which cannot be denied.

  12. The willows seem to have a visible aura when they are in this early-spring stage – magical and so welcome after the winter.
