  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

So inspired by this earth, and always looking to escape the realm of man, and move a little deeper into my soul. Always happy to connect. 3. simon7banks – Harwich, UK – I write poems and stories, often mystical or fantastical. I believe very strongly that poetry is an art of the spoken word, so the sound of the words is important: so please say my poems aloud, if only in your head. I live in the U.K., in Harwich, Essex, but have worked in Kenya and Finland, and travelled to many other places. This is my literary blog. I'm also a Liberal Democrat political activist, birder, long-distance trail walker, real ale drinker and Quaker.

  10. pastorpete51 – My wife and I serve as members of a worship team at a multicultural church. Our members are from Brazil, Nepal and the U.S.. Because of the many languages and cultures in our local body we face unique challenges, such as how many songs will we do in English today? What new songs can we use in either language that are simple enough for the people to sing. The songs, the devotions and insights here are a small portion of some of the ways God is leading us as we push towards the goal. I pray that these will be both a blessing and an encouragement for those of you who may pass by Praise 2 Worship.

Beautiful! I love the mountains though we have chosen after ten frozen years to live in the valley!

  11. Rene Yoshi – Just a transplanted Okinawan-French Southern girl with a wee bit o' Irish, sharing photography and what I'm learning about spiritual things, including putting off legalism and religious traditions, and embracing God's matchless love, tender mercy, and amazing grace!

    Stunning!

  12. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunset.

  13. Emma Maund – Hi, I'm Emma, a beekeeper, aromatherapist and gardener born and bred in London. I'm a slow blogger posting fortnightly (just) about bees (mostly), nature and wildlife, aromatherapy and gardens. I got married in October 2016 and am now Mrs Apis Mellifera. I'm also taking some time out for other big changes this year. In the meantime, with over 200 posts and pages to read, please feel free to explore.

What utterly beautiful words. So inspiring. I look forward to reading more mindfulness in nature on your blog in the new year. Till then, wishing for a very happy and festive holiday season for you and your family 🙂

    1. Thanks so much Emma. Happy holidays and a wonderful new year to you and your family. Very Best, Catherine

  14. NatureSpeak Photos – I take photos of nature as an amateur. That being so, I prefer not to edit the photos so that they retain their "naturalness". These photos, even though silent, tell us volumes about life, principles, ethics and harmony. Silence and nature; so much to experience, so much to learn...
    NatureSpeak Photos says:

The cool freshness of the air comes through this photograph and the landscape seems cooler and fresher. What a wonderful photo!

  15. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. I am revisiting this blog after many years, many life changes and challenges and finding myself surrounding by joy and resilience. Join me for the transformation and transition.

  17. Candie Witherspoon – Iowa, Louisiana USA – I am an Artist, Photographer, and former Art Educator and ESL Teacher in Louisiana. I believe art has a very essential role in education and in most curriculums. It enhances the teaching and learning experience. It opens the mind to new worlds of possibility. It makes education more stimulating and interesting. No classroom or curriculum should exist without art and creative expression.

  18. Dr. Denny Wilkins – Dr. Denny Wilkins professes journalism at a small, private university in the Northeast. He has climbed, hiked, kayaked, photographed, skied, and otherwise meandered aimlessly throughout the American West for decades. He has degrees in geology, environmental studies, and communication — and has tried to make use of them as a co-founder of the progressive cultural blog ScholarsandRogues.com. He’s broadly interested in how the world works and why it works that way. He hates writing, although he does like having written well.
    Dr. Denny Wilkins says:

    Remarkable composition …
