  4. Wow! What a beautiful, lovely photo. Dreams are created right there in the shadows…I can see it! That’s the scenery I long for 🙂

  5. Catita Tx – I've always enjoyed writing and finally decided it was time to blog! As part of my profession I write every day, but I'm now trying to take the time to write creatively. My family and friends have been very encouraging as there is little that is written down in the way of a family chronicle. This is a favorite topic of mine! In addition to family history, I write about life, family, friends and faith. My husband is a full-time parent to our special needs daughter. I’ve explored this topic, too. I also enjoy music, crocheting, reading and relaxing with my family. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

  22. restlessjo – Hi! I’m Jo! Johanna when I’m feeling posh, Jan to my Dad, and Joasiu to my Polish family. A bit of a mix-up, that’s me. The one constant, however, is my restless nature. I love to travel and to explore our world. It doesn’t have to be the big wide world. I can be ridiculously happy not too far from home, so long as I’m seeking new horizons. Of course I have a wish list, and it was to help me fulfil my dreams that I started to write travel guides for a venture called Simonseeks. I’d always kept a travel diary, and it was hugely satisfying to share my experiences and to make new friends who shared my passion for travel. Alas, Simonseeks hit a few troubles, but I still find myself writing about my travels. I’ve become addicted. I’d love to share them, and to make more friends. So, it has to be a blog- right? Or do I mean- write?
    restlessjo says:

    Definitely dreamy 🙂

  23. MJF Images – American Pacific Northwest – A photographer and writer, I have been a geologist and also a science teacher in the past. I am a diehard explorer, traveler, and nature lover who lives in Portland, Oregon. I'm curious and excited about most things around me, especially people, natural science and diverse cultures. My photography tends toward landscape, nature/wildlife, and people (candid and lifestyle). But I'm always exploring new subjects. This blog will be about the story behind the pictures, but not generally about the photography behind the pictures. There will be talk of photo techniques only on Friday Foto Talk installments. Most times I will feature aspects of the places and people themselves, not like so many blogs just the photography. I'll be giving some practical advice on visiting the areas I photograph, so it might look a bit like a travel blog at times. But I will also go into the geology for landscapes, into natural history for wildlife and nature, into culture both modern and ancient for travel/people, and so on. I won't be giving you a blow-by-blow on how I took the picture, and never will I be a cheerleader for a certain type of gear, don't worry. I hope you enjoy it, and remember, keep exploring this beautiful world we share, and take good care of it too!
