  1. Sure miss Ohio…especially when the blizzards would come off Lake Erie and the snow would be stuck on the sides of buildings, cars, bus shelters, signs, but there’d be hardly any on the ground. And using lighters to un-freeze door locks on the car. I’ll stick with my beach a while. Good luck with that…got a good photo from it.
    On my Way…

  2. Wow! you get real winters where you live! Looks cold and peaceful.

  3. Rene Yoshi – Just a transplanted Okinawan-French Southern girl with a wee bit o' Irish, sharing photography and what I'm learning about spiritual things, including putting off legalism and religious traditions, and embracing God's matchless love, tender mercy, and amazing grace!

I just love your poetic captions!

  4. Kat at travelgardeneat – Life sometimes gets so busy, we forget to stop and smell the roses. Travel.Garden.Eat is a reminder to slow down and enjoy the things that make good memories and replenish the soul!

Birch trees make the best subjects.

  5. oceannah – I'm a lover of Earth Mother, giver of life. My organic homestead in the mountains of NY state is a place of constant learning. My people skills are better than my computer skills. Swimming in the briny blue ocean brings me deep joy.

While I like your picture and the birch is lovely…I’m ready for winter to quit clinging so hard and let spring have a go 🙂

  11. Alice – Although I write in many forms, I am first of all a poet. My job is to see the wonder of something newly made from old patterns. Letters become words; words become lines and form into poems.
