Sure miss Ohio…especially when the blizzards would come off Lake Erie and the snow would be stuck on the sides of buildings, cars, bus shelters, signs, but there’d be hardly any on the ground. And using lighters to un-freeze door locks on the car. I’ll stick with my beach a while. Good luck with that…got a good photo from it.

I’m about 2 hours from Canada, in the Upper Valley of New New Hampshire. The natives like to say “It’s not the end of the earth but you can see it from here.”
I will miss images like this one

Wow! you get real winters where you live! Looks cold and peaceful.
I just love your poetic captions!
Endings make way for new beginnings.
Birch trees make the best subjects.
While I like your picture and the birch is lovely…I’m ready for winter to quit clinging so hard and let spring have a go 🙂

Your combinations of poems with the photos are just so great…so perfect.
“magical” image Seedbud,
and ‘clinging’ is not necessarily a word I think of in a positive way, unless of course it´s being used in a blog post of yours! blessings
Nice imagery.
Winter is almost over in my part of the world. Big storm coming Wednesday not looking forward to that.
A very chilly photo
I can relate to the wet snow that clings to the sides of the trees.Winter does cling as we cling to the hope of spring.
I’m kinda hoping that March will dissolve her hold! Lovely Birch!
Yes, it does!
That looks REALLY cold and frozen…. but where are you, in Canada ? which part of the northern climes is yours?
