  6. heavenhappens – Welcome to my life. You can share my grown up world here at http://heavenhappens.me where I blog my thoughts, my life, my travels, my photographs and my poetry. Growing up just after the war was a grim experience. So, now that I have 7 grandchildren, I am reclaiming my childhood by seeing the world anew through their eyes. Every minute I spend with them is magical. So this blog is for them ~ Ben, Rosie, Tiffany, Stanley, Thea, Mateo, and the youngest, Olivia! I hope, when they are all grown up, they will enjoy reading it and finding out about their grandma’s life, and know how very happy they made her. I hope you enjoy reading my posts, leave a comment or a link and I will get back to you. I’m sorry to say that my darling husband died of Covid on Good Friday 2020. Since then the wind has gone out of my sails and I’ve hardly written a thing. I will try to pick up my life and start writing again one day. But for now please enjoy exploring my life🕊️

This is so beautiful x I find the same reaction when I gaze into the eyes of my little dog or my grandson. There is something so pure about their gaze that it does cleanse the soul and lift the heart to higher things x

  8. pamelajeannestudio – Antioch, IL – I started this blog to participate in the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge by Leslie Seata. I have been a creative person from childhood and have always loved making things. I have been a professional quilter for many years. Just recently, I have been doing more drawing and took up watercolor as my medium.

Wow, what a beautiful pic. I often hear owls near my home but have only caught a glimpse of one once in a lone tree right at daybreak. Didn’t have any way to capture the moment, so I really enjoyed this.

  9. Janet Holt – Bald Head Island, NC – I am on a journey of discovery. One that involves discovering the world around me and discovering myself. I have found that using a camera is making this process of discovery much more enjoyable. I trust you will enjoy it as well. My passion for all animals knows no bounds, but it is the parrot that has caught my heart! I am now involved in a campaign to help bring parrots in the wild back into their normal existence! The Indonesian Parrot Project is first on my list, and with a little help from our friends we will bring the Abotti Cockatoo back into a full, strong life in their natural habitat.

What an amazing photo!!! There was a huge owl in our yard a few months ago, but too dark to really see him.

  12. Wood and Field – Southwest Virginia – My husband and I moved to our small farm in southwest Virginia in 2011. We decided to let the fields grow up to create a more diverse habitat for the wildlife that was living here long before we came along. We share our land with three dogs, four hens, and a couple hundred thousand honey bees, and try to live in peace with wildlife as much as we can.

  18. I have these all around the house in Rowe. There has been a nest across the road in a huge old maple for the past 3 year’s. I lay awake at night waiting to hear them.

  19. Looks like an owl I had a daytime conversation with a few years back. This autumn a friend pointed out to me a huge nest in my willow…I wonder if that is where the fledgling fell from?
