This is so beautiful x I find the same reaction when I gaze into the eyes of my little dog or my grandson. There is something so pure about their gaze that it does cleanse the soul and lift the heart to higher things x
Wow, what a beautiful pic. I often hear owls near my home but have only caught a glimpse of one once in a lone tree right at daybreak. Didn’t have any way to capture the moment, so I really enjoyed this.
I have these all around the house in Rowe. There has been a nest across the road in a huge old maple for the past 3 year’s. I lay awake at night waiting to hear them.
Looks like an owl I had a daytime conversation with a few years back. This autumn a friend pointed out to me a huge nest in my willow…I wonder if that is where the fledgling fell from?
What a beautiful photograph! We have owls, but so far they have eluded my camera. I just love your blog. The poetry and the photographs are so evocative..
