1. Mary Mageau – Queensland, Australia – I am a writer and nature photographer, living in a small rural village in the Samford Valley. Here on Australia’s east coast, surrounded by the Brisbane State Forest Park and four rugged mountains, I enjoy exploring new and creative ways to engage with the natural world that surrounds me. My husband and I often roam around Australia as we visit the outback and cities of interest. Our favourite destinations also include the islands scattered throughout the Pacific Ocean. With my notebook, pen and camera at hand, I’ve enjoyed researching and photographing amazing places and scenery, together with the stunning flowers and foliage found in these unique parts of our world. This blog―Nature as Art and Inspiration―has developed through my love of writing and travel.

A beautiful and evocative poem. It underscores the photo so well.

  2. Justine – Tiruchirapalli, India – Dear All! My respects to you All! Auspiciousness and Peace be to All! Life on earth is both pleasure and pain. Is there a way to transcend pleasure and pain and enjoy blitheness of PEACE, HAPPINESS, AND FREEDOM? Yes here it is! It is called ACTUAL FREEDOM! 1) I was born in 1951, in Tamilnadu, INDIA. I was a Government Stenographer by profession. 2) For 35 long years, I was an ardent spiritual practitioner, first in deep Catholic Christian faith. 3) And then, as a meditator in the traditional yoga path, of Indian spirituality. I was blessed with successful kundalini awakening, and enlightenment, with the help of my spiritual Guru. 4) But, I found to my utter consternation, that I was not having real peace, happiness, and freedom. 5) On 19-2-2007, 12-15 PM, I casually stumbled upon a website, www.actualfreedom.com.au. I am happy to say, I found actual Peace and Freedom there. 6) Soon, I was officially declared by Richard, the progenitor of AF, that I have become actually free, as the first one, without ever having met him in person, or having had any mail contact with him, and just by reading his web site. 7)This is my personal experience. It is not my intention,to hurt anyone's faith, or finer sensibilities. 8) Each one has freedom, to choose one's own way. 9) Peace, Happiness and Freedom be to All! JUSTINE Note: Forgive me if anyone find my writing confusing or hard to understand. Please follow your faith that gives you peace. I respect all peoples and their faiths. 4. Janet Holt – Bald Head Island, NC – I am on a journey of discovery. One that involves discovering the world around me and discovering myself. I have found that using a camera is making this process of discovery much more enjoyable. I trust you will enjoy it as well. My passion for all animals knows no bounds, but it is the parrot that has caught my heart! I am now involved in a campaign to help bring parrots in the wild back into their normal existence! The Indonesian Parrot Project is first on my list, and with a little help from our friends we will bring the Abotti Cockatoo back into a full, strong life in their natural habitat.

  5. thedogwalkinggardener – I love dogs and currently do not have any, so I am a dog-mommy when I can be. Gardening is my passion. I've always loved birds and I'm learning a bit at a time from all the Birders that I meet. Swan Lake is my second home! .

  6. becky6259 – My daddy married a city girl and put her in the country, and then I married a city boy and he put me in the city...for awhile anyway. We're now living in small-town Mid-Missouri and enjoying the best of both worlds!

You have such a good eye, seeing and making interesting many things that others of us overlook!

  7. Rosalie Squires – 'Who am I?' is a question whose answer keeps evolving, that can be answered in many, many ways; that has no known answer at all. But there are some clues to be found: stocksharpsquires.wordpress.
