  3. Lugar and Company – Southaven, Mississippi – Shave some crayons on a piece of wax paper. Sandwich the shavings into between two sheets of the paper and plug in the iron. Lightly press and wah lah! Watch the colors mix and weave into a new creation. Call it Art… or Call it Life. It’s a picture of life, isn’t it? Colors, as in experiences, all washing together, merging to create lights and darks. Swirls of light trip and curtsy over impish dark blotches. In simple and complicated mixes, days sing in birdsong after the night hangs rinsed in sunrise. Having lived over a decade in South Korea and a stint in Hong Kong these deep southern roots from Montgomery, Ala have delved richly into Asia and beyond. As I now work with placing teachers in jobs overseas (Turkey, China, Malyasia, Indonesia and Central Asia) the colors continue to swirl in varigated life experiences. Some things to blog about, other than color? Our family of five, travels, Oasis International Schools, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Well, that’s a good start and did I mention that I love words and flowers? But most importantly the fact the He has risen puts all else in focus. The fact that the “I am” still is, breathes life into even the most hopeless of motifs. Oasis HR job by day, art by night, life continues as a celebration. Everyday colors push kaleidoscope-like into imagination, sprouting in fresh ideas. Every morning births new layers of a watercolor wash, both in life…and art. He said so, "Mercy and goodness shall follow me, all of the days of our lives." Just turn around... blessings are in chase of our very souls! 5. cindy knoke – https://cindyknoke.com/ I have stopped counting, which is a very good thing, but thank you sincerely for being here. Last count there were 1,110,870 internet views and visits. 125,268 wordpress comments and growing. Thank you & join us! I retired early after 27 years as a psychotherapist/mental health director (Cindy Barton LCSW) and moved to the outer limits of no-wheres-ville to a home I call "The Holler." My closest neighbors are coyotes (packs and packs of them and they are HUNGRY), rattlers (lots and lots of them and they are MEAN), and free range cows/bulls (the bulls aren't too friendly either!) Forget cell phones. They don't work out here. Forget GPS, it misdirects. It's best not to wander too much out here, the people (and their dogs) are kinda twitchy. To reach The Holler you turn right at the reeking chicken farm, down a bunch of pot-holed semi-streets/dirt roads, past the abandoned refrigerators and occupied old RV’s and then things get kinda dicey. My friends usual reaction to the trip to The Holler is, “You’ve got to be kidding!” Or, “Next time let’s meet half way.” This is our little bit of heavenly Appalachia right here in rural California. I blog about traveling, photography, Holler happenings, and anything else that strikes my fancy. Stop by the blog and take a peek. It’s safe. I promise. Your image reminds me of a Georgia O’keeffe Painting, and the succinct poem brings movement to the image. Thanks also for looking at my blog.
