  6. I love it, too – but I want to know more about the crown – did you make it? It’s wonderful. I like the simple format of your blog – the square photo accompanied by a few lines. Very nice!

  8. Mona – Phoenix, AZ, USA – My blog is entitled "Ramblings: Exploring the Ordinary and Extraordinary." That is exactly what I try to do with my camera as well as in my life. I've rambled throughout life, literally and metaphorically, while I raised two strong, intelligent sons and taught generations of teenagers. I retired from teaching a few years ago, but I have not, nor will I ever, quit working. I spend more time with my friends and my family, which has grown to include two beautiful daughters-in-law, seven incredible grandchildren and my quirky black golden doodle. I don't know where I will ramble next, but I guarantee you that I will carry my camera with me.
    Mona says:

I love these flowers & they do not grow where I live now. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Black-eyed Susans are wonderful. Your picture captures them in glorious balance with the “crown”. And the words punctuate the feeling of exultation that a scene like this stirs in a person.
