Hi. The word ‘Astilbe’ is like a poem all by itself. I like ‘spire rises”. Jane

    1. It is like a poem all by its self isn’t it? Plant names so often have such gorgeous sounds and associations.

    1. Hope that sun arrives for you soon in the lush pacific Northwest.
Near us the donkey farm has a new little one who is white with black spots. I’d never seen a dalmatian donkey before.

  3. becky6259 – My daddy married a city girl and put her in the country, and then I married a city boy and he put me in the city...for awhile anyway. We're now living in small-town Mid-Missouri and enjoying the best of both worlds!
