  Ellen, peonies are one of my most favorite flowers. Whenever a loved one’s special flower blooms in the garden I feel like they are close by.

becky6259 – My daddy married a city girl and put her in the country, and then I married a city boy and he put me in the city...for awhile anyway. We're now living in small-town Mid-Missouri and enjoying the best of both worlds!

Wonderful photo! I love peonies, too — I so wish they lasted longer, they’re so beautiful and such a pretty addition to the flower garden!
