a marriage of powers
the storm and sunset
betrothed to each other
At Dusk
In The Mirror Of The Sea And Sky
a lavender gloaming
as day ebbs
towards night
Peace Visited
welcome is made
by acceptance and surrender
to beauty’s embrace
Beneath The Moon
as day good-byes
the blue sky waves
in pinks and purples
So Many Things At Once
a tomato
a fiery sunset
a vixen’s red lip wear
oh begonia you beguiler
Sweet Dreams
after a sudden rain
some sunset sneaks by
the bedroom window
Transcending
sometimes the sky
in all its moving beauty
rescues me from sorrow
Sunset Blaze
we warm ourselves
on the coldest days
with the sunset’s blaze
Bequeathed By The Sun
vast beauty
blankets the world
the divine is at work
Homeward Sky
sunset radiances
light a corridor
to heaven
Crystal Clear Quiet
day departed tenderly
a gentle blush of sky
whispering goodbye
Sunset In New Snow
the world
freshly brightened
with a lacquer of cold
The Day Retires
the day packed away
in night’s
dark briefcase
Blue Sunset
dark clouds
blue with water
preparing to erase the snow
Sunset Cinder
we savor the day’s embers
as November night
shutters the afternoon
Swept Clear
this fast moving sky
whisked away
all worries
Sunset Leaves
to the departing sky
each leaf of every tree
waves goodbye
Flowering Sunset
the night
unfurls herself
like a rose
Sacred Is The Sunset
empty trees
making space
for consecrated colors
Shy Sky
the day ended so softly
I almost missed the kiss
that was her parting blush
The Day Ends In Hallelujah
a chorus of colors resound
orange echos as pink while
the lemon yellow high note lingers
Another Gift
the day ended
by opening
into color and light
Night Fire
we warm ourselves
on the embers
of the day
Carried
traveling the lines
across a brilliant sky
voices seeking hearts
The Night Sky Is A Closet
the crescent moon
a hanger where
I drape my daydreams
The Transfer Of Color
trees emptied of leaves
so an autumn sunset
colors the sky
Three Sky Morning
the day already divided up
the pink sunrise, a blue mid-day
a mackerel bellied sunset
On The Far Edge Of Winter
the sky
keeps reminding me
how fast time moves
The Day’s Philanthropy
a generous sunset
giving the colors
of a rainbow
Like A Sunset
although dormant
still sending colors
up to the sky
