light bright enough
to rouse
all sleeping seeds
New Day
color and light
rushing in
pushing out the darkness
Sparkle
in the right light
from even the worn and humble
beauty emanates
Midnight Snack
Letting The Light In
through vulnerabilities
we meet each other
and find ourselves
Time Tags Light
shadows chase
late afternoon
through the woods
A Pink Orange Sigh
between night’s descent
and the sleeping earth
resides the colored breath of light
Winter Light
illuminating absences
and the infinite detail
of what is left behind
Morning Light
the sun’s warming glow
breaks through darkness
and into the cold of woods
Lighting The Way
winter raised
her red flamed torches
showing us the path
Light In The Leaves
shining like gold
glowing like embers
light is life
Green Centurions
regiment of pines
establishing the frontline
in the waning autumn light
Halloween Bunting
banners wave
the hunting party gathers
to stalk their candy prey
Holiness Seen
tiny white outline
halo
on hallowed leaf
Through
finally seen
the exit
from darkness
Depth Of Bloom
lit
from within
soul of the rose
Fall Approaches
as everything changes
keep flowering
as long as you can
This Humble Paradise
pause and let
time expand into
beauty’s forever unfolding
When The Senses Become One
lamb’s ear
listening
to light
Breaking Out Of Darkness
a shaft of light settleson the blue diamond delphiniumsaved from the pounding rain
Everything Rises
as morning sidles
to the edge of the garden
the gingko bows to the day
Deliverance
in the gathering darkness
inexplicably arrives
the light of hope
Illumination
lantern by
the flowering tree
beauty is the light
The Color Purple
a touch
of sun and
color blooms
More Light Later But
winter still
is hunkered down
in the dooryard
The Guardian
moon
in blue
night’s light
Apparition
wandering
between the trees
the ghost of light
Signal Spot
light
without light
lantern in the woods
Lightness
slowly falling light
easing us
out of the dark
On The Night Stand
like a candle keeping
the dark, bitter winter
at bay
