if handled very tenderly
absence can sometimes make a space
for sweetness to enter

age
refining and redefining
the essence

life asks
that we give away
little parts of ourselves

pink bird flew
across the sky
showing me how to dream

the wildflowers’ lesson
bloom with abandon
