with one step
we are on the other side
and a new year begins
Walk With A Friend
to be thought of
by an animal
the best of communions
Beginnings
tiny pine
sets sights
on the sky
This From That
from the fallen oak
grew
a moss mountain
Turbulence
despite
wind and current
we travel together
Graceful Exit
in leaving
the leaving of self
behind
Frosting
these leaves
sugared
with cold
Clarity
everything intensified
as edges and differences
make themselves known
The Wondrous Wind
transforming
leaves into light
before winter’s good night
Reading Signs
goodbye
was written
in morse code
Winter Outerwear
the forest
wears a brocade cape
of leaves and fruit and vines
Still Green
in the morning sun
turning
frost into dew
Will You Find Your Way To Being A Butterfly
living inside
nourished with parsley
tended by humans
Primary, Secondary And Then
autumn brings
a tertiary rainbow
pink, yellow, orange
Treat
glowing
like a jack’o lantern
lit from within
A Marriage Of Maple And Birch
distinct
and yet
together
Watercolored Woods
thinned by the rain
what remains
intensified by space
Main Street
magnificent maples
by the white picket fence
autumn Americana
The Yard In Autumn
leaves and light
rest
on the lawn
Unexpected Snow
trees still wearing
their autumn colors
put on a shawl of white
Durga
green goddess
her many limbs
holding up the sky
Still Life
vibrancy
and demise
juxtaposed by light
To Dwell Inside Magnificence
an autumn
walk in the woods
is to step inside the masterpiece
The Woodpecker
plumpness
as preparation
for winter
Rhythm Of The Seasons
a syncopation
of changing colors
fall’s visual music
House Wren On The Garden Rail
where to stay?
when all the world
is home
The Painted Fern
a perfection
of details and form
waiting to be discovered
Just After The Sun Rose
a fairy
flew by
trailing magic
Repose
motionless he remained
his soul already
flown to heaven

#leafandtwig
#repose
Ruffles
edged in pink
a little frill
on leaves
