the place between
the call of the wild
and being called home

in the garden

resides
The Sky’s Gracious Goodnight
witnessing
nature’s subtle embrace
of belonging
Everything At Once
each element
finds the perfect place
next to all the rest
Where the heart is
my mountain home
dwarfed by the immense blue sky
everything is in its place
Being A Part
solitude
inside community
being a part of the whole
One To Another
mountain, farm and valley
hold the sacred trust
of belonging
Names
I did not know
the flower’s name
but she knew mine
Humility
in relation to
not competition with
oh to be one among many
Many Mountains
When I know
the shapes in the distance
I know where I am.
Looking Up
Beneath a canopy of green
lie down on the soft welcoming earth
and claim your special place in the world
by being there.
Big Rock
Sit on the big rock
in the sunshine by the river.
Let the water wash your worries away.
Let the birds sing the song in your heart.
