  3. chelawriter – I thought retirement would give me more time to write, but as with may others, my experience of retirement so far is that it is far busier than my employment years. Two wild fires with evacuations and extensive damage to my home have not helped. Repairs are almost complete, and fingers crossed things will settle down so I can post more often.

  4. JanBeek – Ennis, Montana – With Bob, my dear husband of 64 years (as of Feb.11), I continue to live a full life. Here in Montana, every day is a learning experience. Every day is a chance to reach out in love! With 8 1/2 decades of living under our belts, we’ve learned a thing or two about how to create the “Good Life” in our “Golden Years.” This blog is designed to share some of those tidbits with you. (Oh, and last Feb. we added a new puppy to the mix... cuddly, lovable, feisty - but oh my goodness, he was not house or crate trained! We've fixed that.) Wish us luck with his chewing!! P.S. "Kenny" is making some progress - but it's slow on the learning what to and not to chew! Destroyed our new remote control!!

  6. Steven Tryon – Irondequoit, NY – I am a photographer, walker, and sometime paddler, a theologically-educated geek living in Rochester, NY. Once upon a time I was an Army helicopter jockey in Alaska. Supports gay/lesbian/trans/whatever folks. I started with film, switched to digital, then went back to classic film cameras.
