  1. Henrietta Watson – Panama City,Florida – Hello and welcome! My name is 🌈🌈 Henrietta Watson 🌈🌈, and I write under the author name Etta Bighen. I’m an independent author, blogger, poet, and short-story writer who loves using words to inspire, entertain, encourage, and connect with others. Writing gives me the opportunity to share my creativity, experiences, ideas, and imagination with the world. I’m also a proud mother of a 35-year-old daughter and a 28-year-old son, and a very proud grandmother to two wonderful granddaughters, ages 10 and 9. Family means so much to me and continues to inspire many parts of my life. Professionally, I work as a Direct Support Professional, where helping and supporting others is an important part of what I do. When I’m not writing, I enjoy cooking, grilling, fishing, skating, playing billiards, dining out, and going to the movies. I love enjoying life, trying new things, creating memories, and finding inspiration in everyday moments. On my blog, you’ll find a mixture of short stories, poetry, lifestyle content, recipes, inspiration, creativity, and more. Thank you for stopping by and being part of my journey! — Etta Bighen Independent Author • Blogger • Poet • Storyteller ✍️📚🌈

  2. pastpeter – Sometime Senior Scientist, sometime Senior Pastor, now senior citizen, happily retired and living once again on Long Island, New York – the place people always want to leave but always come back to. Our retirement years have taken Marian and me to mid-coast Maine (A Maine Winter), to the New Hampshire Lakes region (A New Hampshire Journal), and then back to Long Island, where we had spent the 17 “best years of our lives” (Past Pastoring). We loved the north country, but are so glad to be “Home” (Long Islanders).

You live in a magical place!

    1. Peter – and I’m thankful for it everyday. We have had some splendid September days. Hope you have too.

Yes, September has been lovely with low 70s and low humidity. Touches of color here now. But at least it won’t snow before Thanksgiving..! We are ok; Marian has stabilized and is getting around and out to most of what she wants to do. Blessings, P

  5. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.

I’d be quite content sitting there.
