  2. This is so lovely Catherine–thank you for blessing me this morning. There is something so sheltering and protective and belonging about being under the canopy of an established tree…where we inherently long to dwell,

    1. George, there is nothing like the comfort and sanctuary of old trees. You said it so beautifully. I hope you’ve found or find some time this summer to rest under some old limbed friends.

    I love it! 💖💖💖

  4. cathysrealcountrygardencom – France – I have a garden in France, which is not olive trees and jasmine, but much more like an English country garden. It is flowers and vegetables and wild bits and birds: not very big, but to me it is very beautiful.

Lovely shot. The perfect place to drink tea!

  5. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

Lovely picture. Had to search for the table 🙂

  6. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.

How lovely it would be to sit there for a spell

  7. I almost missed the table for the chairs, which I missed for the flowers and the tree. But that shows how well beautifully private and peaceful tea there would be.

    1. Yes, you really have to hunt for the table and chairs. It’s a really magical place – between the old tree and flowers.

  8. writegardener – Sans Sun – I am a gardener in love with the spirit of Nature --- plant, animal, human, medical, you name it --- it's the most natural teacher for righting one's life. This blog offers those insights and inspirations as well as an occasional musing about subjects that touch me deeply.

Oh how delightful! I could just sink down in that grass out of sight and dream (as long as the mosquitoes wouldn’t bite). 😀
