  1. Line Herikstad – India/Norway – I am a freelance writer. I write articles about spirituality, multiculturalism, and psychology. I also publish poems, and photos in various magazines and newspapers.

    Oh, wow! Lovely! 💖

  2. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

    So evocative

  3. Emma Maund – Hi, I'm Emma, a beekeeper, aromatherapist and gardener born and bred in London. I'm a slow blogger posting fortnightly (just) about bees (mostly), nature and wildlife, aromatherapy and gardens. I got married in October 2016 and am now Mrs Apis Mellifera. I'm also taking some time out for other big changes this year. In the meantime, with over 200 posts and pages to read, please feel free to explore.

So much freedom in this picture. I love it!

    1. Thanks Emma! And CONGRATULATIONS on your nuptials! I didn’t know it was a tradition to ‘tell the bees’. How lovely!

Thank you! The bees like to know everything 😉

  4. My friend. I love reading your poetry. I tend to keep the ones that left a mark on me. This one intrigues me. Do you write first and then find the perfect picture, or is it the other way around?

    1. Noel, I take the photos first and then I let the image speak to me. It’s rather like a little meditation. I wait and try and put the image’s gifts into words. Very Best, Catherine

  5. judybarton – Still in love, complicated, almost stupid, interested to recognize herself. "Up to the age of eighteen years old everybody writes poems; after, only two categories of people may continue to do it: poets and idiots." (Benedetto Croce). Obviously I do not consider myself a poet.

This idea is very interesting and intriguing: thank you
