  1. Jen – USA – I want to explore everything, from the mundane to the momentous, the playful to the profound. Nothing is insignificant and everything is related. I’m particularly fond of the mysteries contained in everyday life. Freelancing is my latest adventure, and I’d love for you to come along!

  2. simon7banks – Harwich, UK – I write poems and stories, often mystical or fantastical. I believe very strongly that poetry is an art of the spoken word, so the sound of the words is important: so please say my poems aloud, if only in your head. I live in the U.K., in Harwich, Essex, but have worked in Kenya and Finland, and travelled to many other places. This is my literary blog. I'm also a Liberal Democrat political activist, birder, long-distance trail walker, real ale drinker and Quaker.

  4. GreenRideBikers – Gurgaon – The original purpose of this blog was promoting city cycling and popularizing urban green belt corridors, which it did for it's first one and a half year, since the year of it's launch - 2014. Now-a-days, that is, since the last two years, I haven't been city commuting on my bike, thanks to my city earning the world's most air polluted region title. And thanks to the redesigning of City roads, those are forked under construction since the last six months, loosing a green cover of a whooping 9,100+ trees and the rising construction dust hazards. And lastly thanks to El nino of 2015 and El nina of 2016. I don't know if I have missed any other reason. The theme of the blog, hence, changed, into a bit of my own ramblings covering topics, such as - my travel blogging, social issues in India, climate change & biodiversity conservation.

  5. spiritualdragonfly – Eastern Shore – I WANT OUT OF LABELS. I DON'T WANT MY WHOLE LIFE CRAMMED INTO A SINGLE WORD, OR STORY. I WANT TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE, UNKNOWABLE, SOME PLACE TO BE THAT'S NOT ON THE MAP. A REAL ADVENTURE. A MYSTERY. A BLANK. UNKNOWN. UNDEFINED"(Chuck Palahniuk) *************** So, I've started my 'ABOUT' page with this particular quote because I feel it's a pretty good fit for me. Every day of our lives is a blank slate, a new beginning that we get to fill......Each day I'm evolving, so to try and tell you who I am is going to change on any given day. One day I'm spirited and wild, the next solemn. One day I'm anxious, another I'm full of piss and vinegar. I guess you could say I am a Hodge Podge....living a sometimes beautifully chaotic, yet simple life that I choose to share with you......

  7. nanciec13 – Wisconsin – I am a fabric artist and a professional minister in the Catholic Church. I am married for 40+ years to a most fabulous man. We have 4 adult children, 2 daughter-in-laws ( who we also consider to our children!) and 4 grandbabies. I love to weave, paint silk, sew and design garments for myself; bead, read, write and color. I am also a spiritual Companion/Director and have a special place in my soul for women who are healing and in need of healing from trauma and abuse. I love coffee, quiet reflective prayer time at my kitchen table and long walks to breathe in the Holy Spirit. I would like to learn how to spin yarn and will someday create a spun, hand dyed/painted, beaded, woven fabulous garment of peace!

  8. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......

  11. wisewoodpidgeon – New Zealand – Because I’m exploring some issues and have made a conscious effort to be honest, I’m keeping my identity to myself. Suffice to say I live in New Zealand, a land of hills and mountains, forest and sea. There is a reserve behind my house which is filled with trees which are home to a number of native birds: tui, wood pidgeons, fantails and waxeyes, all of which I love. I have a love of forests and trees, and enjoy exploring. I have chosen this medium to explore some of my own issues and beliefs, and I am finding that I am learning about myself as I write. I also want to write to remind myself about what's important to me - character and values: being authentic, kindness, compassion, integrity, honesty; who I am; how I see myself; what I believe. I often use quotes and sayings as a means of expressing thoughts or ideas, or just as a reminder of what's important. I have discovered a love of photography and so create quotes using my own photos - and enjoy playing with light and form, colour, tone and texture. I think life is a journey, so feel free to join me for the ride.
    wisewoodpidgeon says:

Wow – this is great. The picture and the words go so well together. I like the quote but I dislike that the focus is relationship – because while I know that’s true, it’s a bit close to home. Somewhat “in my face” and part of me doesn’t want to acknowledge the truth in that statement.
Regardless of my response I recognise the truth – now just have to come to terms with it. Thanks for sharing
