  2. M. – Since I was little I liked to visualize and create things. Painting with watercolors is what makes me happy now. That, and spending time gardening and reading. I love long walks, biking, and the beach.

    1. Hada, thank you so much for the nomination. I am so appreciative and honored. I don’t do the “process” of awards because I like to keep the look of the blog simple and clean. But I am touched by your thinking of me. Best, Seedbud

  6. Shellie Troy Anderson – Third generation Vancouverite whose sleepy home town transmogrified from a gorgeous backwater to a "world class city" backwater where nobody can afford to live. Yay . Current writing projects --if social media ever releases me from its grip-- include two novels which may never be finished, Op-eds for the Bridge River Lillooet News (now retired from the position), memoir, and two blogs--this one, and Emergency Kittens ~ Without the Kittens where I sporadically post from my thirty-year collection of photography. . Master of Fine Arts, Creative Writing, University of British Columbia . Bachelor of Arts, Major in English, Simon Fraser University
    Shellie Troy Anderson says:

    wonderful!

  7. judybarton – Still in love, complicated, almost stupid, interested to recognize herself. "Up to the age of eighteen years old everybody writes poems; after, only two categories of people may continue to do it: poets and idiots." (Benedetto Croce). Obviously I do not consider myself a poet.
    judybarton says:

I like your words such as I like ferns …

  10. anotherday2paradise – Durban South Africa and Florida USA – I enjoy writing about absolutely anything, and started blogging with WordPress in 2012. This was my 'Hammock Lady' blog, and I really enjoyed sharing my travels here: http://adinparadise.wordpress.com/ In November 2013, I decided it was time for a change of scenery, so I started my blog afresh, and here it is. I love to travel, and have been fortunate enough to do two round-the-world trips and visit more than forty countries so far. This year we visited our 7th continent, Antarctica. I enjoy photographing wildlife, especially in my backyard in Florida. I was born and brought up in England. My husband and I emigrated to South Africa in 1970. We now live in Florida, USA. I have a son and a daughter and five gorgeous grandchildren currently aged between 6 and 21 years. I'm so happy that you've taken the time to visit my blog, and would love for you to join me on my travels. Sylvia.

  14. NatureSpeak Photos – I take photos of nature as an amateur. That being so, I prefer not to edit the photos so that they retain their "naturalness". These photos, even though silent, tell us volumes about life, principles, ethics and harmony. Silence and nature; so much to experience, so much to learn...

  18. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......

Perfect…The sun beating down did something amazing.

  20. Lucid Gypsy – Lucid Gypsy is mum to two grown up kids and Mma to 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. How did that happen, surely I'm not grown up enough? I love writing – lazy poetry and quite edgy fiction, one day I'll have time to write more and think about it less. In an ideal world, I'd be travelling a lot, but meanwhile I'll go anywhere I can whenever I can. What I'm best at is counselling; I’ve been privileged to work with many special people. I live in the beautiful county of Devon, thank goodness for Devon.

  23. dennyho – A Virginia native, I was born in RVA. In my twenties I married and moved to SoCal where I learned to love a new landscape, was forced to drop my ever present southern 'ma'am', and discovered the necessity of honing my (lacking) map skills. In due time I found myself in C'bus where our daughter arrived and gladly I put myself second. Next city on tour was the 'Burgh (as in PA) and here we welcomed our son. Many years later, I now reside in E'ville, Virginia, Earlysville for those of you who may not know of my sleepy little hamlet resting within Charlottesville in the piedmont of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As I look back over the the abbreviated stops along my life's highway I know I've stepped foot in every spot, met every person, and experienced every high and low for exacting yet unknown reasons bringing me to where I am today. The who I am today is because I travelled that highway, made those stops, and dared to believe I do have it all.

Just discovered your words, your photos. Loving both.
