  1. pragyansharmapolavarapu – MEERPET,HYDERABAD,TELANGANA STATE,INDIA – Am science graduate of 1964(!) with great love for Physics ,Chemistry, Astronomy and Geology. But strayed into government departments dealing with accounting work and worked only in accounts offices .Also greatly interested in such Bilogy/ Botony topics such as first life forms on Earth, stories of first vertebrates, first animals, first fish, first birds, first trees etc. Highly interested in modern theories of stars and galaxies and Dr Einstein's interesting theories of photons,Dark Energy,Dark Matter etc. Much interested in history of development of physical sciences ( Astrophysics, Nuclear physics,Atomic physics etc). Purchased and read lots of standard college books on all these subjects( for my own pleasure). Also greatly interested in computer science and read many books on computer architecture, computer languages and computer networking. Such are my interests in science for last forty years. I have also great love for Western literature,Western poetry, Western philosophy (as we learned through English literary books of 18th and 19th centuries. Greatly interested in the beautiful and highly moral and heroic English novels of 18th and 19th centuries.Greatly interested in English political history . Great love for Greek and Roman mythologies and Greek and Roman histories of ancient times. We compare the Western literature, philosophy and history with our own most wonderful ancient Hindu mystic philosophy and the Buddhist revolution . Thus my interests lie in comparative study of Eastern and Western ideas. I have also a blog www.wordworthean.com ( containing my articles styled as"Rivers of Philosophy) in Google dealing with most of the above ideas. I also have about 20 artcles, poems, short stories in YOURSTORYCLUB.COM

this photo and musings feature is like a new 21st century Wordsworth piece . if only a few gems are produced frequently by authors in such a way!

  2. what an amazing photo. and equally surprising, perfect pairing with words. It DOES look like barbed wire! and I love the image of stealthy spring in the woods.

  3. simon7banks – Harwich, UK – I write poems and stories, often mystical or fantastical. I believe very strongly that poetry is an art of the spoken word, so the sound of the words is important: so please say my poems aloud, if only in your head. I live in the U.K., in Harwich, Essex, but have worked in Kenya and Finland, and travelled to many other places. This is my literary blog. I'm also a Liberal Democrat political activist, birder, long-distance trail walker, real ale drinker and Quaker.

Beautiful picture and clever words. Yes, an illustrated poem.

  4. Rene Yoshi – Just a transplanted Okinawan-French Southern girl with a wee bit o' Irish, sharing photography and what I'm learning about spiritual things, including putting off legalism and religious traditions, and embracing God's matchless love, tender mercy, and amazing grace!

    Beautiful contrast! Love spring!!

  5. Sreeshna Krishna – India – Our connection was a cord woven over many lifetimes, one we didn't begin and could never unravel, no matter how hard we tried... I am truly envious of our next fateful crossing, in whatever lifetime that may be, and so hopefully we won't waste it again. -Leo Christopher

what i say a flight of imagination and creativity..great..

  6. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

    Well seen

  10. dwk758 – Puget Sound, USA – When I was in the 6th grade, I was fascinated by a brief section in my World History book about ancient Greece and the philosophers, mythology, and original Olympics. I wrote my first poem about it that started: "Ancient Greeks and old time Romans...". Ever since it has been an elaboration on that theme...and I have wandered far afield.
    dwk758 says:

    I so love spring, too!

  11. Love the delicacy of the photo in the midst of rough bramles and leaning fence! Lovely.

  12. Early spring truly is a quiet revolution that sneaks up on us and then suddenly erupts in full force. A few days ago, I saw Virginia bluebells carpeting the woods….a similar blue presence….

  13. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunsets.

    Very beautiful photo shot!

  14. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......
    2ndhalfolife says:

    So precious.
