  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

Beautifully lit. I hope it’s not too slippery

  2. spartacus2030 – Keswick Ontario – I'm easy going, a little crazy and friendly to the point of night sweats! My hobbies are music, astronomy and staying out of trouble. I have a Masters degree in babble I printed up myself... I like the outdoors but sometimes come home to eat and stuff like that there. As you get to know me, all this will seem more and more strange. Cheers: Darrell

You have a symbolic point worth considering on a deeper level… Even if ‘out’ means uphill, it’s out, so easier to climb :O)

  4. pastpeter – Sometime Senior Scientist, sometime Senior Pastor, now senior citizen, happily retired and living once again on Long Island, New York – the place people always want to leave but always come back to. Our retirement years have taken Marian and me to mid-coast Maine (A Maine Winter), to the New Hampshire Lakes region (A New Hampshire Journal), and then back to Long Island, where we had spent the 17 “best years of our lives” (Past Pastoring). We loved the north country, but are so glad to be “Home” (Long Islanders).
    pastpeter says:

Thank you. I have been in the wilderness a while and need that reassurance. My word for the day.

  5. MiCo – I have a deep love of writing, especially poetry. I write from my heart and hope others will find some value in what I have to say.

    lovely, looks like my driveway!

  6. simon7banks – Harwich, UK – I write poems and stories, often mystical or fantastical. I believe very strongly that poetry is an art of the spoken word, so the sound of the words is important: so please say my poems aloud, if only in your head. I live in the U.K., in Harwich, Essex, but have worked in Kenya and Finland, and travelled to many other places. This is my literary blog. I'm also a Liberal Democrat political activist, birder, long-distance trail walker, real ale drinker and Quaker.
    simon7banks says:

    That’s reassuring to know.

  7. vannillarock – Guernsey and Arizona – Hello! I’m Anne and it’s a pleasure to have you look in on my little food blog. As a Thermomix user for more than 10 years and an advisor I can tell you the tips, tricks and greatness of this kitchen wonder. Most of the recipes have Thermomix instructions but please dive in - a sponge is a sponge, and pastry can be made traditionally (but why would you?) I am a keen amateur photographer too, so if you’d like to see what I’m up to please visit my other Instagram page @vannilla

  8. Love it… I was taking snowy road pics yesterday as well. Our New England country roads are so beautiful. 🙂

  9. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......
    2ndhalfolife says:

It looks so darn pretty, but I know the truth behind it…ha ha.

  12. blkkat49 – United States – I just want to write about anything that inspires me and to share this with everyone who wants to read it. I'm drawn to blank spaces and want to fill them with pondering, and advice and pictures. I know very little about a lot of things, but a lot about a few things. I write poetry, short stories, fiction and nonfiction and I love to read what the world of writing has to offer in any venue available. That is why I'm here.
