  1. frankregan17 – United Kingdom – Hi I'm Frank and I write nonsense, and poetry and fiction, but mainly nonsense. I hope to get better at the poetry and fiction bits. Mainly though, in the vain hope that no one notices that the majority of it is nonsense.

Proof that winter does not last forever – spring will win in the end.

      1. Shared your GLIMPSE with those who look at my very poor attempt at drawing what I saw in my mind. Thank you so glad you noticed it, shot it and shared it.

  3. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  4. Elisa – I love reading, writing, poetry, photography and cooking and and and...!!! "It gives me strength, almost unbelievable strength, to know that you are there. I covet your eyes, your ears, the collapsible space between us. How blessed are we to have each other? I am alive and you are alive and so we must fill the air with our words." - Dave Eggers

  7. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......

A wonderful glimpse of what is possible through patience, hope, and endurance. Winter is not eternal, and there is always something more to be experienced and enjoyed! This was a moment of zen I needed and take comfort in today.

  11. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunsets.

    Very beautiful photo shot!

  12. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.

Cool shot! Love that peek of green

  13. Ompong – Philippines – I like taking photos while driving my way to the office and back home in Metro Manila, Philippines. Considering the high volume of traffic along one of the major roads in the Metro called EDSA, full stop on the road is normal, specially during rush hours. And in such stops, I take pictures of buildings, the skies, any trees that I see, and almost anything that interests me. I'm quite new in photography but is really having fun taking candid shots of people. I hope you will like my photos and do visit me in my blog... photoniompong.WordPress.com. See you there! :)

Awesome shot…! The “green leaves” were beautifully encased in a “white cage” of snow guarded by rocks.
