I love your imagination! It does look like brushstrokes on an abstract painting.

To me it’s a study in grey!

  4. Beautiful Haiku. I am always amazed at the thought of living with snow. Here in Melbourne Australia we are preparing for our occasional 40oC /110oF plus summer days. Today is a lazy 29oC day with a sea breeze. I am about to put up a photo/haiku on my blog about our summer snow.

    1. Thanks Denis. Your lazy mild day with a sea breeze sounds pretty good right about now. Winter came late – but she came in hard and strong. Her beauty has demands. I grew up in Southern California – weather much more like Melbourne’s. Your wonderful haiku and your summer snow.

  5. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunset.

    Very nice and beautiful!

  6. NatureSpeak Photos – I take photos of nature as an amateur. That being so, I prefer not to edit the photos so that they retain their "naturalness". These photos, even though silent, tell us volumes about life, principles, ethics and harmony. Silence and nature; so much to experience, so much to learn...

Beautiful photo and words that complement… Lovely!

  7. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. I am revisiting this blog after many years, many life changes and challenges and finding myself surrounding by joy and resilience. Join me for the transformation and transition.

Too true…a coat of snow make everything ugly look clean.

  8. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.
