“Store house of stories” — such a beautiful phrase. This beautifully sums up my fascination with old buildings and weathered wood. If only the walls could speak.

  4. Chris – Design is everywhere, infusing our lives with wonder and joy. From the moment our eyes land on our cozy beds, the simple elegance of our toothbrushes, the sleek contours of our body wash bottles, to the charming shapes of our cereal bowls and beloved coffee mugs—everything around us is a masterpiece crafted by someone’s imagination. Consider the intricacies of your car, the bustling energy of an airport, the thrill of soaring through the skies in an airplane… even the magical experiences we have while traveling on vacation. Each moment is touched by design, created to bring a smile to our faces and transform our lives in ways we often overlook. I’m here to share the remarkable design I encounter in my daily life, hoping to inspire you, to brighten your day, and to spark delight in your heart. My name is Chris Weigand, a naturally curious, forward-thinking designer driven by a passion for the exquisite details—big and small—that bring us joy. Join me on this journey as I unveil a treasure trove of design-focused content, featuring exciting DIY tutorials, insightful product reviews, personal experiences, and unique observations. Let’s step outside together and embrace our curiosity!

  7. Rene Yoshi – Just a transplanted Okinawan-French Southern girl with a wee bit o' Irish, sharing photography and what I'm learning about spiritual things, including putting off legalism and religious traditions, and embracing God's matchless love, tender mercy, and amazing grace!
    Rene Yoshi says:

I LOVE this! Great composition! I would hang it on my wall.

  8. What a double-take I did. At first glance, the light coming through the boards on the other side of the building appear to be rather large nails sticking up through the bottom of the window frame. Any stories or memories trying to climb through that window would snag their syntax!

  9. sherijkennedyriverside – North Bend, WA USA – Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.
