  1. Aggie – Southern Arizona, USA – Life is an excellent adventure! My husband, Lou, and I have built an off grid homestead, including rainwater collection, solar power, and passive solar earthbag tiny home. I do bookkeeping, and we also make and market BathyDerm, an herbal bath tincture that is good for the skin and fades age spots.

Do you mind revealing the general location of your photos? It’s pretty country you share with us.

    1. Hi Aggie. All the photos are from the “Upper Valley” – the Vermont and New Hampshire sides of the Connecticut River in the northern part of the states but not the most northern – which is known as the Northeast Kingdom.

Ahh, I visited a place in New Hampshire during autumn once. So beautiful. And the best apple I have ever eaten, from a 150 year-old tree.

  2. Beautiful sky – I love seeing more cumulus clouds lately – they only happen with influx of warmer air – so there’s another sign we’re headed for warmer days ahead. 🙂

  3. We’re in midcoast ME and you are evidently not, but everything you have posted the last couple of weeks describes our experience of this winter exactly! Good pics and good poems!

  4. Lovely words and photo … thanks for sharing

    1. yes you are.
sorry for the delay in responding you somehow fell into my spam folder.

  5. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunsets.

    Beautiful!

  6. Son of Sharecroppers – I'm an attorney, but far more important to me than my work are my family and my hobbies: in particular, writing, photography, fishing, and guitar. I'm an amateur at all of these things; indeed, I am an amateur at all things important. But I keep trying to learn.
    Son of Sharecroppers says:

Very nice! It’s hard to keep details so well in the shadows.

  7. Dr. Denny Wilkins – Dr. Denny Wilkins professes journalism at a small, private university in the Northeast. He has climbed, hiked, kayaked, photographed, skied, and otherwise meandered aimlessly throughout the American West for decades. He has degrees in geology, environmental studies, and communication — and has tried to make use of them as a co-founder of the progressive cultural blog ScholarsandRogues.com. He’s broadly interested in how the world works and why it works that way. He hates writing, although he does like having written well.
    Dr. Denny Wilkins says:

    Delightful …

  8. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I have enjoyed taking in the sights around yours. This post is breathtaking…one of my favorites.
