Hi! I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award! Click on the link below to read my post about it and learn the rules you are asked to follow on being nominated. Nothing is obligatory of course! http://lizterryblog.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/ive-been-nominated/
Liz, thank you so much for the nomination. But I like to keep the look of the blog simple and clean so I don’t do the process for accepting awards – but I’m honored and encouraged by it. Thanks so much!
it’s a great image and colors so wonderful shades blue…
hey…and I thaught the same, as Liz did before…got same nomination Award…but have not enough WP blogger friends to enter the “snowball system”…and I see clearly now, most of my photopals installed a pic in About, that shows “no Awards plzzz…” – will reject my nomination invitation.
…but will connect your 2nd Blog “Furry Side” store to my Blogger site…
have a good sunday
from the banks of river eider, northern germany…
This is the most beautiful picture of an Iris I have ever seen. I myself have taken many Irises but this far surpasses them all. I think it is not only the color but the light. Great work!
Thanks so much. It was just one of those moments when I was prowling around with my camera and everything was right – the light – everything. The bloom practically shouted out “photo ME!”
OH, I don’t have a like button because I like the blog to look clean and simple, gentle on the eye.
I don’t like the way it makes the blog look messy with all the gravatars that come with the like button and haven’t been able to figure out a way to have a button but not the listing. Thanks for visiting.
Oh, dear Catherine, I so appreciate
your understanding. While I do not
typically engage in self-promotion,
felt I had to jump in here because
I believe you might find my wedsite
appealing simply due to its indelible
cleanliness and, boasting aside, has
long maintained its consistency, that
I trust you can value. It has the certain
charm I think you would enjoy. . .
This image made my heart leap, simply beautiful! Thanks for visiting my blog, I’m just getting started, so the positive feedback feels great.

Beautiful flower
Thanks for sharing me with your readers.
Beautiful colours in the iris. What is its name? I’m starting to collect them to grow in the garden.
Oh I don’t know the name. Sorry Barry.
Beautiful! It looks like it belongs on a coral reef rather than in a garden.
Wow, pleasing to the eye. 🙂
I love this Iris. Blue irises always remind me of Van Gogh.
So beautiful

I didn’t really expect you to do it, as it would spoil the look of your blog. I just wanted you to know you were on my list! Keep up the good work!
They certainly do in this beautiful iris.
Gorgeous — so well framed.
My grandparents had an iris farm in the 60s/70s – this makes me think of them. 🙂
