Lovely picture – again we are on the same track only my photo of emerging rhubarb didn’t come out too well so I haven’t shared it! Our daffodils are slightly ahead of this and should be in flower soon.
I returned home yesterday to about half the amount of snow we had when we left…so that along with your beautiful photos/words of the daffodils gives me hope for a spring soon to arrive!!! 🙂
Technically it is Spring now…but winter is holding on as hard as it can.
It’s March 22 and the temperature has dipped back down into the 30s.
Little flowers shivering!
Ahh soon weeks away here…
This rebirth is always amazing no matter how many times we’ve seen it.
The very picture of hope. I can’t wait to get back to Montana and look for tiny shoots of green.
Our first daffodils opened and then were engulfed by snow. They are still fighting on, though.

It is great when you find moments like this in the garden! Fills you with excitement !
Amazing, it is a renewal of sorts!
I like “shouldering”: it’s not just a pretty face, the stuff of romantic poetry; but a determined little thing, doing hard–and beautiful–work.
This put a smile on my face. I can hardly wait.
Beautiful…
Which makes me think of this quote: “Struggle is the unchanging reality of life and of the universe.” Daisaku Ikeda
How exciting! New England winters are long, but Spring is that much more glorious!

So exciting! But you’ve got daffodils popping up already? I’ve still got snow, and we’re due to get 6+ inches!
So nice to see! Thank goodness they are strong and hardy!
Nice to see they are pushing up SOMEWHERE. Winter just won’t stop here in Wisconsin. We got 2 1/2 inches in Madison today 🙁
