I love all the colors in this pile of acorns. We have ‘Acorn Woodpeckers’ on the mountain. they peck holes in the trees and stuff acorns into them. the trees that have been worked on look studded.
I just love fall!
The past few days I have been watching them gathering their stores for the winter…they are so cute as they scurry here and there…your picture and poem reflect this time of year.
I used to collect those when I was a kid, and make little people sculptures out of them, thanks for taking me back to a fond childhood memory!
Those chipmunks are going to get nice and fat!
