June Wedding
the chosen spot
for the marriage of lupin and iris
beneath a Chuppah made by trees

carrying bouquets
of sweet william

rain in sunlight
bright meadow flowers
before the dark woods

garden wedding
in June
bridal veil blooms
What was Carried
hydrangea is the bouquet
at the marriage of
summer and fall
Wedded
stonecrop on rock
the marriage of time
eternal and fleeting
Kholrabi

wedded with a turnip
farm stand favorite

Mist marries
the mountain
to the lake.
Affiance
Betrothed to each other and the earth
fairies place their wedding rings
on flower pillows side by side
during the nuptials.
Dew
Dew drops balance
on the tips of grass blades
until it is time to wed the earth.
