wandering – Leaf And Twig

Falling, Falling, Falling

each flake
slowly wandering
through the air

the worn path
a line of desire
made known

dawn light reveals
the wandering path
of a nocturnal browse

shadows
stretched by sunshine
long winter days

from afar
a tiny star
can lead us home

sit a bit
in the shelter of the shade
and watch the day wander by

it is my thoughts that wander
into the snowy woods
finding their path towards peace
